What a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal Involves

Early engagement with the relevant planning authority is strongly advised to establish what survey work, including any heathland mitigation strategy contribution, will be required.

- Internationally designated wetland habitats – Poole Harbour and its surrounding land are subject to particularly stringent assessment given SPA and Ramsar designations
