Collington Winter Environmental provide a range of landscape architectural services. We are Chartered Landscape Architects with over 15 years’ experience in the creation, restoration, management and conservation of landscapes. We are a Landscape Institute Registered Practice.
Consideration of the effects of a development upon the landscape is an important component of the planning system. We provide a comprehensive, landscape planning and landscape design consultancy service for a range of development opportunities, from strategic land promotion sites, residential and commercial development, minerals and waste, and renewable energy schemes to new agricultural buildings and equestrian landscapes. We have extensive experience in landscape planning, underpinned by a thorough knowledge of relevant planning policy and expertise in landscape character assessment, enabling us to deliver high quality work.
We are experienced in working in historic, farmed landscapes and have been closely involved in a number of successful projects funded through Environmental Stewardship, and more recently Countryside Stewardship. Our knowledge and experience of managing the landscape to conserve and enhance its natural beauty and protect the historic environment is supplemented by an understanding of the need for working, rural landscapes to be financially viable.
We have been involved in projects to diversify farming operations, including a woodland burial ground and our approach, which is rooted in a thorough understanding of the importance and uniqueness of place ensures that any new development sits comfortably within the existing landscape, protecting and enhancing valuable habitats.
